Over the course of 30 years, Casterbridge Tours has acquired an unparalleled level of specialized expertise in all areas of educational and cultural group travel.
When redesigning the Casterbridge Tours website, we worked with them to create a site that represented their newly-redefined company identity. Catering to their travel-minded client base, we designed an adventurous website that is easy-to-use and fun to explore.
We transformed their online administrative experience from a static website to a content management system. Packed with over 700 pages of content, the Casterbridge site is organized into four tiers, with each top-level tier representing a division of the company. Each company division has access to its own section of the website for editing of division tour itineraries and information. Everything from the image rotators to the navigation panels is editable by the client, enabling full control over the website. It features full content search, as well as template-caching, to keep page indexing speeds at maximum efficiency.
We also built a tour selection interface that searches through a published database of Casterbridge’s tours and selects those that match the criteria a user has specified. Tours in any country or region can be found in this manner.
