When you post to your fan page, your post appears in the news feed of your friends. This is good brand exposure. However, you can directly market to your friends for even greater impact since someone might miss your post in their feed.

Thinking about offering a new service or about carrying a new product? Ask your fans what they think! You might just receive valuable feedback. There are some pay-based poll/survey Facebook applications in the marketplace that you can setup quickly.
